Hi! I’m Ryann, a UPenn Bioengineering graduate, a veteran MATH2400 TA, and an incoming Ph.D. student at Harvard.

Thanks for coming to my site! I’m from Columbus, Ohio, and I just graduated in May 2025 from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Bioengineering with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry.

I’ve spent the past 3+ years conducting groundbreaking research in lipid nanoparticle-mediated delivery of nucleic acids and CRISPR/Cas-9 gene editing for various therapeutic targets, focusing heavily on cystic fibrosis applications.

I’ve also worked hard to be a champion and mentor for women in engineering from the ground up, from middle school women-in-STEM summer camps to being an orientation peer advisor for arriving women undergraduate engineers.

Post-undergrad, I am pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering at Harvard to further my education and continue my passion for research of drug therapies and nanotechnology.

Outside of school, I am a huge Ohio State football fan (Go Buckeyes!), a member of Theta Tau Tau Gamma, and spend my days crying that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will never come out.
